Search Engines

The internet is always on and your site is always working to bring in more business. But, if You have to personally invite each person who eventually sees your site then you may as well not have one.

That is where search engines come in.

It is likely that everyone who has ever used the internet has at one time or another used a search engine. It just makes sense to make sure that whoever does use a search engine to look for the product or service that you offer finds you.

That means that you need to appear in seach result and that you appear near the top. The websites that appear first are there for a reason, they were specifically made so that search engines would 'think' they were the most relevant to whatever the person searching was looking for.

No one can guarantee a top listing. And anyone who makes that promise is lying to you. But it is possible to increase your chances. And that is what we will help you do. By selecting keywords that match what you expect your customers to search for when looking for you and making sure that the content of your pages is relevant to those words your chances of moving up in the listings will only get better.

Why did search engines come last?

That may be exactly what you are wondering. After so much discussion it almost seems as though it was thrown in as an afterthought.

It came last for a very specific reason.

A well designed site is more 'attractive' to search engines. It is an odd thought that you would need to make something attractive in order to get a computer to like it. But getting computers to like things is an odd thought already. And however strange it may seem, there really is something to those two ideas.

Every computer was programmed by a person. And for the people who came up with the idea of search engines, their objective was to make the results match what a person would come up with (or at least close). So, there is an asthetic to making web pages that score well with search engines.

We will help you find a design that is attractive to both search engines (so that people will find you) and people (so that they will stay once they do). In the end, you will find yourself with a website that you can be proud of that draws in customers and helps you to keep them.
